With general conference only a week or so away, I was so thrilled to read about the idea of a conference reverence tent. What a perfect idea for the children! The Friend magazine is just the best. While we are making the tent we will talk about King Benjamin. This is such a practical and fun idea.
Our family room has often been a tent building site, but this time it will have greater meaning. It just might become our family's newest conference tradition. The children will willingly go along with this suggestion. They can collect a few books, chairs and blankets and build away!

Another fun idea is to make your breakfast the night before, so the morning can be a relaxing one.
Here are two family recipes from my husband's side, that are superb.
Butterscotch Rolls
Stack in well greased bundt pan approx. 24 frozen Rhodes Rolls.
Combine & pour over rolls: 1 cube melted butter
1/2 C brown sugar
Sprinkle 1/2 package instant butterscotch pudding over rolls
Cover with light cloth and let rise overnight.
Bake: 350' for 30 min. or until golden brown.
Remove from oven and immediately turn out onto platter. Serve warm.
Hash Brown Casserole (From Aunt Charlotte)
Layer in greased 9x13" cake pan
6 C frozen hash browns
4 green onions chopped
1-2 T green pepper chopped
2 C cubed ham or cooked sausage
2 C grated sharp cheese
Mix together and pour over:
6 beaten eggs
1/4 C canned milk (I use whatever milk I have handy)
1/4 C sour cream
1/2 t. pepper Cover with foil & bake 400' / 1 hr.
(I like to take foil off last 10 min.)
